Giddy Up Horsey... the girls wanted to go horseback riding, so we took a day of fall break and went to Townsend, TN. We found a great place, Davy Crockett Stables. We rode horses for 1 hour along a trail with a guide. It was a pretty easy trail, most of the horses just followed along (some stopped for a bite of flowers). It was fun to be outside and experience the beautiful views. Everyone should try horseback riding at least once!
Tips:
- Call ahead and make a reservation
- Search online for a coupon, we found one here
- Wear long pants, you may get scraped by some branches
- Have fun - we even took the grandparents!!
